Léonce Jean-Baptiste is self-employed and currently contracting with TekniScience in Montreal, Canada as their Business Development Manager.

Jean-Baptiste was instrumental in founding the Haitian Association of Indiana (HAI), a local organization serving the small Haitian community of Indiana. HAI’s contribution to this diverse and growing community has been significant, particularly on bringing forth Haitian immigration issues to the concerned citizens of Indiana. With the advent of the 2010 earthquake in Haiti, HAI was among the first Haitian organizations in town to speak on behalf of the native land.

Jean-Baptiste moved to the United States in 1994 and earned a dual degree in Management and international Business at the Indiana University- Kelley School of Business.  He later obtained an MBA from Indiana Wesleyan University with a concentration in Healthcare Management.
